Camille Giroud, Vosne-Romanée Les Chalandins 2014

By Steen Öhman May 19, 2017

The Vosne-Romanée 2014 village from Camille Giroud is quite a bargain. It’s from a vineyard located north of the village on the border to Flagey-Echezeaux and near the road. The nose is forward with a lovely juicy fruit – oak well integrated and very Vosne like – offering nice spices – violets and a hint of rose petals. On the palate juicy fruit – nice mid-palate weight. It’s perfectly balanced – slightly polished stylewise and offering a lot of hedonistic pleasure – classic Vosne at a attractive price given the high level of quality.
