The Chablis the Preuses 2009 from Dublere is a typical 09 white Burgundy. In the nose quite exotic yellow fruits – mango, pear and a slight citrus note. On the palate quite dense and sweet chardonnay fruit. Lacking some freshness and acidity as many other 09 whites. Still it’s a respectable effort from Dublere, but if you like a vibrant and fresh white Burgundy – look elsewhere.

The 2008 vintage produced some wonderful white wines, and the Chablis Les Preuses from Domaine Dublère is no exception. In the nose fine minerality, chalk and some notes of lime and citrus. On the palate a fine crisp acidity, good fruit and minerality. Good lengtht, and while the complexity is good it’s not really impressive. Indeed a fine Chablis.
