Cécile Tremblay is improving year after year and the Echezeaux 2014 is a delight to taste. The nose offer af lovely selection of Vosne spices, and a deep an pure red and dark berry fruit. On the palate very juicy fruit – transparent with a very fine definition – its long, and intense yet very elegant. My expectations are high .. and they were fullfilled as I think the detail and focus of this wine is bettter than the previous vintages .. and this wine is slowly but surely moving into the top league Echezeauxs. Well done – but more importantly a delight.
(Drink from 2026) – Very Fine – (93 – 94p) – Tasted 22/03/2016 – tank sample.

- A new name in Vosne – Paul Tollot-GrosDuring my visit to Vosne-Romanée, I became aware of changes brewing at one of the family estates. This is normal, and happens in the best of families. All producers with a clean cellar and reasonable talent should be able to make – at a minimum – clean wines. But the ...
