The Musigny 2002 from Vogue is a wonderful wine. The bouquet oozing with minereality and red coulis fruit. On the palate it shows very good length og power, with a fantastic minerality simmerring under the layers of red pinot fruit. It’s less dark in the fruit than many other Musignys from Vogue, thus also more approachable. Still this is a wine that will keep for decades, and is only showing some of the potential. It’s another more elegant style of Musigny than the big 1990, but I think it more than equals it’s quality. One of my favorit wines from Vogue.

- Domaine Comte Georges de Vogué 2010 vintage One of the annual wine highlights is the October tasting of the new vintage from Domaine Comte Georges de Vogué. This year was no exception, and the expectations were very high, as the 2010 vintage is one of my favorite vintages in Burgundy – and I was not disappointed. As usual the wines were introduced by ...
- One year with the WineHog Time really flies … and it’s now exactly one year since I launched WineHog.org in Juliy 2011. - WineHog rating system – articulated Robert Parker!! I use my own 100 point rating system here at Winehog.org. Compared with other rating systems used by Robert Parker, Wine Spectator, Allen Meadows (BurgHound), I have more steps between 85 points and 100 points. The change of the rating system is due to the need to separate the many really good and fine wines rated ...
