This is a real surprise – Domaine Chapelle, Santenay 1976. Not a great terroir, but this is a really good to very good mature wine. On the very positive side, it’s drinking very well, on the downside, the wine does not have complexity, as it’s from a fairly simple terroir. But for what it is, a fantastic wine. (now – 2015) – 89p
