Domaine Dujac, Gevrey Chambertin Aux Combottes 2010

by Steen Öhman on November. 27. 2012

in Aux Combotte, Bottle, Domaine Dujac, Fine+ (92 - 93), Gevrey Chambertin

The 2010 Gevrey Chambertin Aux Combottes from Dujac is a truly impressive and adorable wine. In the bouquet cool sweet red forest berries … very sophisticated and delicate with a underlaying minerality. On the palate refined red fruits with very fine ripe tannins and a lovely focusing acidity. It has a impressive intensity and weight but with a almost airy lightness … 2010 is a truly great vintage. Very transparent with a lovely exposure of the terroir. Most likely the best Aux Combottes I have tasted so far from Dujac .. a beautiful and sophisticated wine.
