The Meursault Tillets from Roulot is a very good wine for the vintage. In the nose fresh citrus aromas – grape and lemon, a fine minerality and frehsness. On the palate same picture, quite good acidity and structure, ripe yellow fruits with citrus notes in the finish. Not a big wine, but a quite refined wine – rare for this vintage!. Another impressive bottle from Roulot.
(Drink from 2018) Very Good – 89p

- Visit Domaine Roulot – tasting of the 2017s from bottle One of my yearly wine highlights is the tasting at Domaine Roulot, where I have the pleasure of sampling the latest vintage, normally from cask. This year was however different, as a trip to the hospital in March interfered with both my Trilogie and Roulot tastings. Luckily I had the opportunity to go to Roulot in ...
- Visit Domaine Roulot tasting the 2017s Normally I taste Domaine Roulot in March, but this year I was sadly unable to visit at the usual time. Luckily I had the possibility to visit in late May – with the wines given some rest after the bottling. A truly lovely tasting of the 2017s … vivid and refined wines – with a charming ...
- Visit Domaine Roulot – tasting of the 2016s from cask It’s this time of the year – when I usually taste the lineup of Domaine Roulot – and why change a splendid tradition. The tasting of the 2016s were however somewhat different to the earlier years, as the frost had caused some adjustments to the lineup. First things first – no Meursault Meix-Chaveaux was made in 2016 ...
- Visit Domaine Roulot – tasting of the 2015s from cask One of the highlights of the year is the tasting of the latest vintage from Domaine Roulot in Meursault. The wines of Domaine Roulot is a benchmark for the whites in my view, as they always are among the best wines in each vintage – and furthermore they always reflect the style and nature of ...

- Terroir Insight: Domaine Roulot Meursault Clos des Bouchères One of the more unknown 1er crus of Meursault is Les Bouchères and the Clos within the vineyard called Clos des Bouchéres. But since 2011 Jean-Marc Roulot really has put this terroir on the Burgundian map – as he now makes one of the most delicate and refined Meursaults from the monopole Clos des Bouchères. In the ...
- Impressions from Grands Jours de Bourgogne – part 2 A week in Burgundy leaves one with a lot of thoughts and impressions … The number of wines and producers at Grands Jours de Bourgogne is almost infinite, and given the number of people attending its impossible to taste all wines, and meet all producers.
