Winehog Harvest News 2017 #2

By Steen Öhman August 29, 2017Leave a Comment

The 2017 harvest is progressing rather rapidly, and more and more now in the vineyards harvesting the whites.

Domaine Hubert Lamy harvested through the weekend, and the Criots Batard-Montrachet was picked on Sunday – August 27th.

This morning Domaine Leflaive began the harvest with Puligny-Montrachet La Folatieres – grapes look beautiful and so is the weather in Burgundy.

Still some time to go before the big reds are ready

Late last week Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac posted that the grapes on Vosne-Romanée Malconsorts needed around two weeks more, and that would give a harvest date around the 7 or 8th of September 2017 depending on the weather.
