I need lovely food for my Burgundian wines. I am sitting at home confined for the next several weeks, and getting released will presumably not help me the least bit on the food front, as the restaurants will probably still be closed.
Fair enough; in this situation all is fair. It is, however, a very, very strange situation.
While the Winehog may suffer, the suffering in the restaurant world everywhere is very serious indeed.
New Facebook page to support our friends
I have therefore started a new Facebook page as a tribute to all the good restaurants serving Burgundian food and/or wine.
Please remember our friends in Bourgogne – the Protot brothers in Nuits-Saint-Georges (Thomas) with La Cabotte and his brother Julien Protot with Cafe de Paris – that aside from the enjoyable food also have very fine wine lists.
In Beaune we find Richard Grocat with Le Comptoir des Tonstons and many others. Support them!
