Today – September 17th – Domaine Grivot is harvesting Clos de Vougeot after picking Vosne-Romanée Aux Brulees yesterday afternoon.

Still others are picking grapes – Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair is also in the vineyards securing the last part of the harvest.
Looks like some will harvest well into the next week – and according to my sources Domaine Ponsot will begin around Monday September 18th.
Apparently Domaine Ponsot has appointed a new Deputy Manager who will be in charge of the winemaking, and he has been in place since before the Summer 2017. I will report about Domaine Ponsot when I know the full story.
