We all have our personal favourites … one of mine is Hotel Les Deux Chèvres – a sweetspot in Gevrey.
Les Deux Chèvres is a informal luxury boutique hotel located in a converted winery in the heart of Gevrey Chambertin. Visit the hotel website here.
The Hotel occupies a beautiful location, surrounded on three sides by vineyards, in two historic buildings on the Rue de L’Eglise in the ‘Old Quarter’ of Gevrey Chambertin of the village – just metres from producers like Domaine Armand Rousseau, Claude Dugat and Denis Mortet.

The buildings have previously housed the vinery of Maison Faiveley. In other words – the perfect base for exploring Gevrey Chambertin and the surrounding wine villages.

The hotel is owned and managed by Paul and Jolanta who will receive you in friendly, relaxed and luxurious surroundings. Paul originates from UK so no language problems is awaiting you at Les Deux Chèvres.
The hotel offers wine tasting, and will assist you arranging wine tours. Contact the hotel for further info.

The rooms
The rooms are classic with a boutique like style – all well above the normal standard in the area. The perfect spot for a relaxed luxury wine tour in Burgundy.

For more info about the three types of rooms available – check the hotel website.

The location of Les Deux Chèvres
Putting it on the larger map the hotel is located just south of Dijon (1.5 hours south of Paris and less than 6 hours from London with the TGV high speed train).
Going down to street level the Google map below show that the hotel is located in the very epicenter of wine production in Gevrey-Chambertin – literally in the backyard of Domaine Armand Rousseau.
This is the place to stay!
