The terroirs of Chassagne-Montrachet
Chassagne is a large and quite prominent appellation, with three white Grand Crus and some very fine 1er crus. Only half of Montrachet and Batard Montrachet are located in Chassagne-Montrachet – the rest is in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation.
