The latour a Pomerol 1989 is quite developed and mature. In the bouquet some attractive notes of cedar and a slight hint of tobacco. Sadly also some wet cardboard in the nose. On the palate open and quite fruity. Rather unfocused and lacking a little backbone. Drinking well now – and would not improve with further cellaring as I fear it will lose even more freshness.
