The La Lagune 2005 La Lagune is a very nice old school claret. In the bouquet cassis, liquorice with some dusty notes and hints of cedar. On the palate firmly structured with lovely ripe fruit and tannins. Good mid-palate concentration, a good acidity – so typical for the fine 2005 vintage. Somewhat closed at the moment, but will develop more complexity with 10 years more in the cellar. A fine Bordeaux with good support for rich food.
