The Cos d’Estournel 1928 is a fantastic wine. At age 83 it’s still fresh and vibrant – impressive. The bouquet offers orange notes, forest bed, truffles and is still fruity. The palate is very vibrant with a wonderful acidity, and a core of ripe red fruits. Medium body with a very good structure and acidity. Good length. One of the best very old Bordeaux I have tasted, 83 years and drinking well.
