The first wine I have tasted from Denis Carré, this is a robust and slightly old-school Meursault. For a 2017, it is dark and somewhat dense. The fruit is pure, but it lacks some energy and freshness for the vintage. Bottom line: An intense wine that calls for plenty of good food, it’s surprisingly rich for a Tillets. It’s not quite my style.
