Domaine de l’Arlot, Romanee Saint-Vivant 1998

The Romanee-Saint-Vivant 1998 from Domaine de l’Arlot is a very fine and beautiful wine for the vintage. The nose is quite expressive offering fine and delicate red fruits + a lovely floral spicyness. On the palate very forward and crystal clear offering tremendous acidity and clarity for the vintage. The fruit is very pure .. layered and fresh with a very fine balance and transparency … especially the purity is impressive. A lovely RSV unfolding – will keep but is drinking quite beautifully now – what a treat.
