Domaine Forey, Vosne-Romanee Petits Monts 2012

The Vosne Romanee Petits Monts from Regis Forey is a fine but slightly rustic effort. In the nose deep rather intense red and darkberry fruit, spiced with cinnamon allspice and a nice minerality from the filigree terroir. On the palate medium weight with quite ample midpalate fruit supported by a nice acidity and a quite robust dose of tannins. A classic Forey .. slightly old school with quite some tannins at this stage .. but will unfold and make lovely drinking in 10 years or so.
