The 1990 spätlese #1491(auction) from Fritz Haag is one the best and most impressive spätleses from this outstanding domaine. It’s now entering a quite mature stage. In the bouquet mature notes – petrolium, lime, apricot, and acasia with fine minerality. On the palate quite dense mature riesling fruit, still fresh with good acidity. It’s harmonious and intense with a wonderfull balance. Need some years more to reach full maturity and a more refined creamy stage – but is drinking well now. Lovely mature riesling.
