A step down from the Le Pigeonnier – also from La Ferme de Saint Roux this is from Des Maures – a neighbouring appellation. This is a lighter effort – also priced lower – still well made and balanced. It’s a quite enjoyable wine .. sweetness and tannins nicely balanced – work well as a aperitif and with light summer food. The nose offer a light raspberry note – delicate with a citrus hint. On the palate relatively light – with light red berry notes.
