Yes, it’s me: the Winehog

As some of you may have noticed I have relocated the Winehog “global” operations centre – man and office – to Nuits-Saint-Georges, the main town of the Côte de Nuits.

This means I have the opportunity to meet more of you fellow geeks and geekettes that love to drink and explore Burgundy – or Bourgogne, as it’s rightfully named.

Meetings and tours

I do offer different services: meetings/tastings, vineyard tours, and other activities related to Burgundian wines’ joy and interest. I am a geeky guy, and like to explore all sides of the region, its vineyards, and people.

If you have a special request – a view of the grand cru vineyards of Vosne-Romanée, for example – let me know. But one must also be realistic, as the Covid situation is still setting quite some limits here.

I also do – maintaining full respect of sanitary regulations – meet and greet chats, where you can pick my brain about Burgundy. I almost always have an opinion, however unfounded it may be! Remember, in the end it’s a question of individual taste, and my palate is not totally unbiased.

My raison d’etre is to find wines that give you emotional joy and inner satisfaction.

I do have time constraints – as do we all. I therefore mainly do meetings from my base in Nuits-Saint-Georges at various venues, i.e. the Cafe de Paris, Cafe du Centre, Bistroch, or La Cabotte; good places that I want to support.

Sometimes I have time for a meet and greet; other days (and even weeks), it’s more difficult.
