The Chassagne-Montrachet Les Grandes Ruchottes 2014 from Paul Pillot is a delightfully crisp 1er cru. The nose is cool and crystaline offering tremendous transparency og purity – with delicate white fruit and a cruchy minerality. On the palate lovely citrus infused fruit – fine mierality – starting out quite compact and slightly short – but with temperature the finish unfolds beautifully. A gorgeous Chassagne .. classic and vibrant.
