La Romanee 2010 is a huge wine. Balanced with a super structure. Quite dark and dense at the moment, but shows a lot of finesse and a wonderful minerality. Not quite on the same level as the fantastic 2005 La Romanee from Liger-Belair. Exceptional length a truly extraordinary wine. …

Liger-Belairs Echezeaux is getting better and better as Louis-Michel get the vineyards in shape. Made from old vines in the very good parcels Cruots and Champs Traversin. Truly a grand cru effort with finesse and length. Precise and quite powerful with a wonderful minerality. Outstanding! 94 - …
