Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée Les Jachées 2006

The 2006 Vosne-Romanée Les Jachées from Jean-Yves Bizot is still surprisingly darkly flavoured and backward. After an hour in the glass, it starts to unfold its usual delightful, energetic, whole-cluster fruit and tantalising Vosne spiciness.

Not the most open of Jachées, but the Vosne spiciness is to die for, and almost second to none; complex, lively, and very detailed. This is why one drinks Vosne.
