Chambolle Musigny

Comte de Vogue, Bourgogne Blanc 2009

By Steen Öhman October 25, 2011 - Leave a Comment

The Bourgogne Blanc from Vogue is surpisingly good in 2009. The bouquet is showing fine exotic fruits but also a good focus with a fine minerality. On the palate surprisingly good acidity and freshness for a 2009. Good balance with a fine quite elegant fruit. A very good effort in 2009, where a lot …

Comte de Vogue, Musigny Vieilles Vignes 2009

By Steen Öhman October 24, 2011 - Leave a Comment

The Musigny 2009 from Vogue is a wonderfull wine. In the bouquet sweet red pinot fruit, very focused and refined. Very fine minerality ..... what a nose. On the palate very elegant with fine red fruits, a good acidity and very focused and refined - a pleasure. This wine is one of the best 2009 wines …

Comte de Vogue, Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 2009

By Steen Öhman October 24, 2011 - Leave a Comment

The Amoureuses 2009 was not showing well at this tasting. Normally this is a quite "red", fresh and mineral driven wine at this stage, but here it was quite dark and dense in it's expression. The bouquet offered quite dark coulis fruit with a fine minerality. The palate was also on the dark side, …

Comte de Vogue, Bonnes Mares 2009

By Steen Öhman October 22, 2011 - Leave a Comment

The Bonnes Mares is often the odd wine out in the Vogue lineup. Not this year however. Very focused bouquet with red and dark fruits - coulis and creme de fruit. On the palate same story, very pure, refined and focused. Good acidity, freshness, and a fine minerality for a Bonnes Mares in a hot …

Comte de Vogue, Chambolle Musigny 1er cru 2009

By Steen Öhman October 21, 2011 - Leave a Comment

The Vogue 2009 Chambolle 1er cru is like always made from young vines on the Musigny vineyard. Slightly closed in the bouquet, with a rather dark fruit expression. Not much minerality is showing in the nose. The taste is more forward with dense fruit, quite good acidity and minerality. Fine coulis …
