The Dujac Aux Combottes 2007 is a pleasure. The bouquet quite open with sweet red notes. On the palate very well balanced with fine fruit and minerality. Aux Combottes 1999 from Dujac was a bit disappointing. Dujac made very nice wines in 1999, but this showed very hot tones, i.e. quite heavy sweetness, prunes and tar. No doubt vintage is hot, but I really hop this Dujac wine with cellaring will become more classic style Burgundy. The potential is …
