The Aux Montagnes has lovely, cool fruit, and is harmonious and well-structured.
It’s cooler and more precise than some of the other negociant wines from Charles Lachaux in 2019; quite the hedonistic treat still. I love the wine’s character and its expression of the terroir. Bravo; it’s always pleasurable to experience a top-class Côte de Nuits Villages.
