Dear readers, beloved winelovers, and friends: I want The Winehog media and website to work seamlessly in providing you knowledge and news from Burgundy.
It’s therefore very important that the online customer service works well, and in a timely manner. I am, however, a one-man band, meaning that all the service is provided by me.
I like the service part, as it gives me a chance to meet readers face to face (or email to email). But as we all know, things can go wrong.
Am I flawless? No. Do issues occur? Yes they do, but I try to resolve them as quickly and swiftly as possible.
I have listed below a few topics where issues can potentially arise.
Logging in can from time to time be an issue, and if you have used the “Lost your Password?” link without finding a solution, then please contact me. I will create a solution.
The explanation is usually a caching issue that I – and my technicians – constantly work on to resolve. Sometimes it doesn’t work, hence a manual update is needed. So please contact me.
Subscription not updated
This happens on rare occasions, and if you don’t have the access you need/want and have paid for, please contact me, and I will fix the problem.
You can always check your subscription (when logged in) under “Your Membership” in the black top bar of the website.
“Your Membership” will also give you information about when your subscription expires.
Subscribing issues
If you have issues subscribing then contact me. It’s rare, but errors do occur, and the easiest solution is often an email-to-email exchange. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
Timeliness
I do my utmost to help and resolve problems quickly. However, if I am in a tasting or doing visits it can take a bit of time – usually only a couple of hours, and rarely more than a day.
Happy subscribers is the key
The Winehog is a place for wine enthusiasts, and while you can get aggravated by problems with subscriptions and technical issues, please bear this in mind. Believe me: I understand. I get upset myself if things are not working as they should.
I am here to provide knowledge and news to current as well as old subscribers.
Contact me if you have an issue.
No auto-renewal
The Winehog does not renew your subscription automatically. I don’t like this practice personally when I subscribe to a service. You can choose the two-year subscription to save the work and a bit of money. You are very welcome!
