The 2014 Beaune Clos des Fèves tasted resently was a hedonistic joy – the bouquet was bursting with layers of red fruit – perfumed and quite floral for a Beaune wine – offering a lovely complexity. On the palate rich and balanced – yet airy and focused – with a lovely core of juicy and fresh red berry fruit. Very enjoyable silky and vibrant fruit – matching some of the best Beaune wines from the vintage.
(Drink From 2022) – Very Fine (93 – 94p) – Tasted 02/11/2016 at a tasting held by Vinslottet
