The 2011 Saint Romain Sous Roche from Domaine des Chassorney is a good little wine. In the bouquet nice red fruit with notes of cherries and hints of sweeter red fruits – strawberries and pomegranate. On the palate nicely focused organic fruit with a fresh acidity – a good midpalate concentation and length for this level. A good wine but the fruit is somehow lacking a bit of sparkle and depth. Nevertheless quite enjoyable!
