The Saint-Romain Blanc ‘Combe Bazin’ 2010 from Domaine Chassorney is a fine crisp effort from Frederic Cossard. In he nose crisp Chardoney fruit, pear, pear, citrus notes and a good minerality. On the palate lovely fresh and crisp, with a good midpalate fruit, spicy minerality and a zappy acidity. A very enjoyable and fresh wine, good complexity for the level, but the terroir, while quite good, is the limit for this wine.
