Caroline Parent Gros, from Domaine AF Gros, reported on twitter “So far, what we see in the vineyards of Pommard, Beaune & Savigny is, at least, 75% loss” and “Savigny les Lavieres is also extremely damaged. The storm was bigger than in 12!”

It’s really sad news – and the damage looks just as severe as in 2012 – where the vignerons in some appelations lost more than 50% of the harvest due to hail damage.
