The Boudots 2007 from Confuron was sligtly closed. The bouquet had red fruits with cherry and raspberries. The palate was quite accessible showing nice ripe red fruit. Not showing a lot of complexity but a quite elegant wine. While this was a very nice wine, I feel something is missing – first of all a clear expression of the terroir, secondly genuine charm. All is very nice and polished – sadly not much personality.
(Drink from 2014) Above Average – 88p
