Joseph Drouhin, Pommard Les Boucherottes 1962

The 1962 Drouhin Pommard Les Boucherotte is still very fresh and vibrant. In the bouquet deep red fruit – with notes of sous-bois, leather and tar. On the palate deep rather muscular fruit with a fine focusing acidity and balance. The fruit is still fresh and juicy … impressive at age 52. A lovely, quite powerful and slightly rustic Pommard … from the magnificent 1962 vintage. Will keep … but I recommend enjoy now.
