La Pocra is a new summer wine from Ledy vins. Pocra means “clay on hands”, referring to the fact that this might be a entry level wine … but it is still very much hand-picked and hand-made like all the other wines from Aurélie at Ledy vins.

La Pocra is a Pinot Noir 2025 from Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. It’s from the area between Chaux (above Nuits-Saint-Georges) and Villers-la-Faye, further south. It is very forward with the richness and generosity of the 2025 vintage. With only 11% alcohol, it is an expressive and light-footed wine … delicate fruit … lovely notes of cherries and cherry stones. Will be bottled early – April 2026 – with the expressive pinot fruit intact for joyful summer drinking. A vin de soif – a wine for early drinking … already ready to enjoy at the launch this summer.
