The 1996 Cristial is a outstanding Champagne. The 1996 vintage is perfect for Cristal, as it can be a little on the sweet and unfocused side. The 1996 tightness and acidity transforms the wine, and adds up to a classic and focused glass of champagne. Compared to other vintages of Cristal this is on the dry side. (now – 2020) – 94p
