Starting in Nuits-Saint-Georges – Monday 8 am. It’s very early not; even time to get a cup of coffee at Place de la Liberation (the lockdown does give this name a new meaning).
First out: Moron-Garcia
Starting out with 2019s from Moron-Garcia, which are still fresh, vivid blessings. These are indeed delightful wines. The Corton is simply magnificent.
Domaine Cécile Tremblay
Next: Morey-Saint-Denis to explore the new vintage. Tremendous 2019s at Tremblay, confirming the high class of the 2019 vintage. The Chambolle Feuselottes is outstandingly lively and hedonistic.

Vincent Ledy
Returning to Vincent Ledy to taste the 2018 and the 2019s. As always, mysterious wines from Ledy.
The vivid 2018s now in bottle – the even better 2019s will follow
Francois Labet
Francois Labet is in the heart of the Vougeot vineyard. It’s the last tasting for now of the generous 2018 vintage. They have a rare richness – yet without the vivid freshness of the 2019s.

Nicolas Faure
Last tasting of the day, a visit to Nicolas Faure. I am pleased to say that the 2019s here show a return to great form. These wines are vivid, emotional treasures.
Nicolas Faure showing not only the magnificent 2019s – but also his newborn son ❤️🍾
Moving on to Tuesday – after a dinner with Gernot Kollman and the Ulm gang!! Great days with Burgundy friends.
Program Tuesday
Tomorrow, a fine program: Domaine Roulot tasting of Clos des Boucheres in amphorae, a visit to Pommard’s Clos de la Commaraine, and finally a tasting at Domaine Y. Clerget, also in Pommard.
