A new restaurant in the middle of Chassagne – a friendly place with affordable food and a large selection of lovely wines at all price levels.
Papi serves simple French dishes in a contemporary fashion. It is a bit rustic style-wise, but the palate is delighted by simple and straight forward cooking.
I really prefer this to some of the fancy-pantsy restaurants with pretentious (often failing) creations that take the focus away from the taste of the excellent products used and even the wine.
The wine list is quite extensive with focus on Chassagne, and some of the wines are priced very well.
