A new, exciting, pop-up restaurant in Beaune; outdoors and relaxed, it’s around from now until late August.

The cuisine is world food, meaning dishes made with the inspiration of many different kitchens – Spain, Hongkong, South America, you name it!

Some of the dishes are truly outstanding and are worth a journey (at least from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Beaune on a Vespa). Others are very simple, but so well made they beg you to take another bite.

The format is to order a handful of dishes – 5 or more for two people – and then share these lovely creations. Get what you like; order more, or two of the same if needed. Just enjoy!!

The wine list is “vins naturels,” i.e. mainly funky, with some at the more extreme end. There are wines from producers like Frederic Cossard for the less brave. Not a place for finding the big guns, but for exploring (if you’re not afraid of pet-nat and other more informal variants). I had a pet-nat from Frederic Cossard that was a lovely sparring partner for the food.

Highly Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️ (The fabulous lightly smoked herring (Harengs Fumés) is to die for. 🎈)
