The Les St. Georges 2012 from Chevillon is a delightful and quite refined effort. In the nose quite expressive red and dark berry fruit .. pure and transparent with a fine expression of the minerality. On the palate fine weight, very focused and refined for the appellation – with a zen-like balance. The fruit is juicy with a lovely cool energy – lovely transparancy. A gorgeous wine .. perhaps the best I have had from this estate.
