Charodon Bourgogne Côte d’Or 2022

The Bourgogne Côte d’Or … red and dark fruits …. extraction is a bit high for my taste. Could be the sulphur firming up the wine … needs a bit of time I think.

Charodon Côte de Nuits Villages 2022

The Côte de Nuits Villages is from the Fixin area. It’s textbook CdBV … quite lively with plenty of fresh fruit and depth – 2022 can be a true delight. Lovely balance – enjoyable style … lovely hedonistic style.

Charodon Beaune 1er cru 2022

The Beaune 1er cru is delicate, delicate fruit and intensity. Light-footed with a very lovely balanced extraction. Beaune can be quite indifferent… but not in this case, as the energy and tension make a lovely wine in this nice vintage. Lovely vivacity.

Charodon Gevrey-Chambertin 2022

The Gevrey village is from the area below the RD974 going towards Morey. Not a very complex wine, but very well made with a lovely hedonistic flow. 2022 did not make wines with very hectic energy … but enough with this level of acidity. A delightful glass.

Charodon Vougeot Les Petits Vougeots 2022

A rare bird from the village part of Les Petits Vougeots. This is a delightful – almost pink – pinot. Very enjoyable and delicate. More oomph in the 2022 and a lovely hedonistic lightness. The pinot pink rules … can be enjoyed in all decadent contexts … nude or dressed to party.

Charodon Vosne-Romanée 2022

The Vosne is from Les Communes. Quite perfumed and very delicate with a sensual fruit note (porn). Intense fruit with a mix of three barrels produced. Oak is used more freely than the Suchots. Love this cuvée.
