Burgundy before 1990
Tasting notes for red and white Burgundy before the 1990 vintage. It’s important to note that there can be very big variation in quality in old wines. Even if the bottles come from the same case, there could be quite a quite big difference, if the wine is 50 years old.
So when we are talking about very old wines – there are no great wines – only great bottles!
