Domaine du Clos Frantin, Vosne-Romanee Malconsorts 2005

The Vosne Romanee Malconsort 2015 is still young and just beginning to display slightly developed notes. The nose is offering quite dense and rich ripe red and dark berry fruit … plum, cherries .. spiced with a earthy minerality, violets and hints of liquorice. On the palate rich and quite dense .. still need time to unfold. A fine Malconsorts in the making but somehow not matching the definition and focus of the latest vintages.
