Domaine Robert Groffier

Domaine Robert Groffier, Bonnes Mares 2013

By Steen Öhman May 8, 2015 -

The Bonnes Mares 2013 from Groffier is a delightful effort in my view - Bonnes Mares really show very well in this vintage. The bouquet is offering a love collection of red and dark berry fruits, open pure and very accessible - much more so than earlier vintages I have tasted of this wine. On the …

Robert Groffier, Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 2007

By Steen Öhman October 12, 2012 -

The Amoureuses 2007 from Groffier is somewhat closed at the moment. In the bouquet quite dark fruit, raspberries and some asian spices. On the palate very fruity with a fine minerality - but is lacking a bit of depth and juicyness in the fruit like many other 07s. The finish is currently a bit on …

Robert Groffier, Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses 2010

By Steen Öhman May 4, 2012 -

The Chambolle Amoureuses 2010 is a brilliant effort Domaine Robert Groffier. The bouquet is very forward, with beautiful red berries - strawberries, raspberries with hints of blueberries and cherries. Fine spicy notes, very transparent with the minerality oozing from the glass. On the palate very …

Robert Groffier, Chambolle Musigny Les Sentieres 2010

By Steen Öhman May 3, 2012 -

The Chambolle Les Sentieres 2010 from Groffier is rather closed. In the bouquet a slight reduction, black cherries, cassis and raspberries - quite a contrast to the open and charming Amoureuses 2010. On the palate very good minerality, good length and balance. The fruit is quite tight, but also …

Robert Groffier, Gevrey Chambertin Les Seuvrees 2010

By Steen Öhman April 28, 2012 -

The Gevrey Les Seuvrees is a good to very good village effort from Domaine Robert Groffier. The bouquet is slightly closed with some reduction, but also fine red and dark fruit notes - dark cherries. On the palate also a bit closed, the oak is quite forward in he wine. Has a good fruit and balance, …
