The Chambolle Amoureuses 2010 is a brilliant effort Domaine Robert Groffier. The bouquet is very forward, with beautiful red berries – strawberries, raspberries with hints of blueberries and cherries. Fine spicy notes, very transparent with the minerality oozing from the glass. On the palate very refined and delicate red fruit, pure and charming. Very good balance and freshness – the essence of pinot noir. Perhaps i’m a bit generours with the points – but the Amoureuses 2010 is by a quite big margin the best wine I have tasted from Groffier. A delightful and dazzling beauty – this is how Amoureuses should be!
(Drink From 2022) Very Fine – 94p
