The Beaune Clos de Feves 1969 from Chanson Pere et Fils is in slight decline but still tasteable. In the bouquet red fruit – mostly cherries – hints of mushrooms and with the powerful 69 acidity present in the nose. On the palate nice but a little tired red fruit, with a strong acidic backbone. The wine is quite composed at the beginning but slowly disintegrate in the glass. In decline.
