The 2007 Chateau Marlartic-Lagraviere Blanc is a big white Bordeaux. It’s made from 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillion – alcohol level 14,5%. In the bouquet the high proportion of Sauvignon is very evident with notes of elderflower, elderberries and hay. On the palate quite powerfull with good balance and length. It’s a rich and almost creamy wine, with a good acidic backbone. The high alcohol is not dominant in the wine but could be a problem when the wine matures.
