The Chambolle village 2006 from Vogue is surprisingly open and accessible. In the nose framboise, strawberries and red cherries. Quite open and charming with delicate fruit notes, and a fine expression of the terroir. On the palate quite lush fruit, sweet notes but with a firm structure of tannins and a lovely minerality. Typical 06, openly knit and quite generous and seductive. A lovely wine – still young and need at least 10 years or more in the cellar to reach full maturity …
