First wine for me from this producer … and certainly not the last. The Chassagne Blanchots-Dessus 2011 is a lovely forward effort. In the bouquet expressive yellow orchard fruit .. hints of oak and gun powder supported by a nice minerality. On the palate fine weight .. focused yet somewhat openly knit … with a lovely drinkability. Love the expressive style, the purity and the focus. A delighful Chassagne.
