Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, Echezeaux 2009

The Echezeaux 2009 from Liger-Belair is a brilliant effort for the vintage. The bouquet is still very young with toasted oak aromas. After a short time in the glass the oak aromas evaporates and reveals multible layers of ripe red fruit – raspberries, dark cherries – sweet spices and licorice. On the palate refined cool and ripe fruit, with a fine acidity and good minerality. After a few minutes it starts to display more layers of lush fruit, still with delicate balance, vibrant freshness and a fine focus. Pleasure in a bottle!
